My name is Alan Sowerby, I am in my eighties and have been a Diabetic since I was thirty.
I was born in the North in what was then known as Cumberland. I left there when I was 21 and joined the RAF. Finally I settled and got married in Gloucester shire.Diabetes is a disease I would not wish on anyone so I have dedicated my time to finding out all I can about it.
